why is the baby face down in my ultrasound pictures is that normal?

Yes, there is nothing wrong. That is just how your baby was positioned when they did the ultrasound. 11 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter they allowed us to bring in a video tape and they taped the ultrasound. 1/2 way through they allowed me to go to the bathroom. She flipped over after my bladder was empty. So the first 1/2 of the ultrasound she was face down and the 2nd have she was face up. Kind of cool
