Re:Is not sending thank you notes the norm these days

My Uncle and Aunty send hand written homemade thank u cards all the time. When it was their wedding they sent me and my sister thank you cards for helping out and stuff. Then wen i did the baby shower for them they sent another card saying thankyou. For birthday and christmas i just say thanks personally to them. I also send little txts sometimes. like on my birthday i sent one to my uncle for being the best uncle ever and sed thanks to mum for giving birth to me and stuff. I think as long as u take time to say something then its fine with all the technology i think ppl are losing the thank u cards tradition but i still think its lovely whether a note, email, txt or call.

I agree with Bexie, again. Why send out cards to thank them when they are right there?
And it can be a waste of money, honestly. For my baby shower, I did send out thank you's, because my mom told me to. But for my Graduation Party, she didn't make me. I called my relatives who sent cards for graduation, but weren't able to make it to the party.. I guess I could have sent a card, but I wasn't gonna buy a pack of more cards than I needed for like 2 oe 3 people. To me it seemed like a waste of time, money and stamps ... So I gave them a call.

Cassandra was a beautiful Trisomy 18 baby, and after 12 days she went to heaven...i have written out 50+ thank you cards to people to sent cards and gifts (along w/15+ Christmas cards...) so, yes i think you should send TY cards...many people did not need to send us a card and we greatly appreciated their thoughts and prayers.
