Hi All,

I'm a little worried about the Vaccine, I'm 5 months pregnant and not sure whether to get this or not. I'm worried in case it harms my baby, and I'm scared in case I get it. Has anyone gotten this vaccine and had there Baby? I know I don't really have much of a choice but I cant stop worrying about it...

I will not be getting the h1n1 vaccine. I feel it was rushed and not properly made/tested. I won't risk it on my unborn baby.

I agree with the last post. The most important thing is, YES, YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!!!! Don't let the media and government fool you. Sure, there are consequences with every single decision you make in life. I would rather risk getting the flu than risk possible long term damages.

i have gotton the h1n1 vacine. but i agree with laura and emily that it is your choice whether you get vacinated or not, but it wouldnt be a bad idea.

what i would do is talk to your doctor and ask them if the vacine would affect the baby or your pregnancy. then make the desicion to get the vacine or not.

hi i would def not get the vacine, i am in my 3rd trimester. Who is to say you haven't already had it but so mild that you didn't really notice, you coud already have immunity to it. Also if you are fit an healthy there is no reason that you wouldn't recover fully from it. Doctors are getting paid per vacine they give so i personally think they'l tell you to have it regardless.
But no matter what anyone else says it is a personal choice so you have to do what ever you feel comfortable with. good luck!

I'm scared to get it as well. But am very worried because I have two preschoolers at home who are in daycare. They could easily pick it up and bring it home to me and I always seem to catch Everything going around!
Not worried as much about my kids on this as myself. That sounds awful but I will explain. Most young children are recovering from this quite well. The news said that H1N1 has been most serious in that the deaths it causes are to young women. Also the fact that there is a child in my belly,.....I could never live with myself if there was an optional vaccine and it was my choice to take it and later on my baby had developmental prroblems because of a bad choice I made......Sigh* Stressful
