i was just wondering how did your or your spouses parents reacted when you told them you were expecting?

Depends on which child we are talking about lol.

For my 1st I was 18 and in my 1st semester of college so my parents were disappointed but very supportive. I don't know about his fathers parents, I wasn't there when he told them and we never really talked about it. And now they hardly every see Wyatt.

For Owen everyone was a little surprised, but DH's Father was very excited and flew out here to America from England after he was born and ended up staying.

For Rosalie (my baby girl) everyone was thrilled!! We had been trying for a while to get pregnant. She has DH's father wrapped around her tiny finger. My parents are also all about Rosalie and they boys and they spoil them!

Well, if my mom was alive, she would be thrilled when I told her about my imaginary baby. Then she would cry and say i will be a great mom. My dad, he wouldn't really care about my imaginary baby. He is just like that. Once it was born, though, he would want to snuggle it all the time. He loves babies, just not after they grow up. My mom in law, were she alive, would hate my imaginary baby. She always said she hated kids. My father in law, well, I don't know. He would be happy I think, but not really care too much.

How did your parents react when you told them about your imaginary babies?

my mum hated it to start off with and his mum oh its to soon i told em all to go f*** themselves lol they soon come round

i knew something was going on so i asked my mom to come to the doctors with me.. i was pretty shocked to find out i was pregnant and actually got pretty upset (not a planned thing). my mom said she would support any decision i made, so did my dad when he found out. i think both my parents knew i would choose to keep my baby, as my dad so lovingly put it "you can't even kill a goldfish." after discussing all options with my boyfriend we came to the conclusion that we both really wanted to keep it.

my mom was ecstatic. our baby will be her first grandchild. she's planning the whole baby shower and tells everyone that shes gonna be a grandma

his mom is just as ecstatic! went out and bought unisex clothes when i was only like 3 months pregnant, lol. she called the hospital to find out how many people i could have in the delivery room before i even started showing!

know im 30 weeks pregnant, due in february, and we all cannot wait to welcome our precious little girl into this world
