Hi i am 16 and having identical twin girls.I mean one baby would of been enough but now i am having twins.Identical no less.I just don't know what to do my parents disowned me it was either get an abortion or leave. So i left and my boyfriend said he will be there for me but who knows what he is going to do when the babies come. It's to late to get an abortoin.I just don't know if i should keep the babies or give them up for adoption. But even if i did put them up for adoption my family still would'nt accept me back i just don't know what to do.Any advice.

I'm Dee, I'm 16 and two days ago I had twin girls, Marlie and Audrey. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now. Babies, while a blessing, are a lot of work. Especially two! First you need to find a place to live! If you find a way to support them, and you want to, then go for it. If not there are plenty of people who would love to adopt two beautiful baby girls.
I'm keeping you in my prayers.
Dee

I dont think that you are being selfish for wanting to keep them-though some people will say you are. If you can support them and you want them then I say absolutely. I wish you luck

Hi, Leslie. For one thing, if an abortion option is gone, it's gone, honey. I think you'd want what's best for your children. Whether that is, raising them on your own or handing them off to another reliable family which you know will be a positive environment for the girls.

If you choose adoption, you can still visit the girls regularily if that is okay with the parents. That way, they will always have a special place in their hearts for you and you know they will grow up smart and safe.

The issue is, if you keep them, you need to be ready. I know you WANT the children, but are you PREPARED for them is the better question. Will your boyfriend be there?

This is a tough decision. Think it through, and keep expressing yourself whether that's in writing, speaking, or drawing form.

You made a choice to have sex which means you knew what could happen. Every child deserves a happy and healthy childhood and on. Don't give up on yourself and what you can do. You have these babies and love them. Start saving now, if his parents are supportive that is a start. Don;t give your hopes up on the i can see them if they are adopted . Every state is different and once it is settled the ones who adopt can change their mind at any time to let you know anything about that child. STAY IN SCHOOL YOUR BABIES NEED YOU TO!!!!! Best of wishes!!
