What an emotional rollercoaster for you! My husband and I were both married before and had children at young ages. Now that we are older and married to one another we are unable to have children of our own. You must weigh out every decision you make. There are soo many families out there wanting to provide for a child. I am now in that boat BUT I was once that young teen-aged mother who was scared to death and didn't know what to do. Use your heart and your head!

First I would like to say congrats!! I think the only reason you were even thinking about adoption is because you had your family in mind...on that note I had ALOT of friends that got pregnant very young and while they were pregnant their parents "disowned" them (and even had a friend that had a "mixed" baby and a racist father) but as soon as the parents saw the baby everything changed and they melted!!(even the racist father!) So all I'm saying is I think they are probably upset or disappointed but give them time and I'm sure they will come around. As with anything..you should follow your heart and not do anything until you have time to think it out!! Good luck and God bless!!
