I am sure you have tried lying on both sides and on your back, try placing pillows between your knees as you lie on your sides. If none of these work, and you have a recliner chair, try leaning back in it and see if you can rest that way. I know it isn't easy, but you do need your sleep so keep trying everything you can think of.

build a mommy nest in your bathtub, and sleep in there sitting up but comfy. You can breath easier in that position, and your heartburn after you eat your apple, should be just fine till the morn sleeping upright like that. Put a bunch of pillows in there, a small air mattress, and blankets, and snuggle in and get comfy - good rest is still doiable.

Hey Nakita I'm 31 weeks & 2 days pregnant with a boy, I can so sympathise they never stop moving. I was checked yesterday and he is head down yeah! But I get jabbed in my ribs all the time! As soon as I go to bed and rest he really starts thinking this is play time! So I have started resting a couple of hours before bedtime to trick him. So when I go bed he is alot calmer and I can fall to sleep quicker, although ge wakes me up about 4 - 5 o'clock but I do get some sleep now! It can be annoying but at least we know they are strong babies! If you ever do get the chance and nothing else works try and get a couple of hours nap in the afternoon, it will keep you going!

I, too, have a VERY active little boy moving about inside at all hours of the day/night. We often joke that he will run out of the delivery room saying "Thanks for the ride Mom, I have things to do..." as he waves over his shoulder!

My Dr told me to take a Tylenol PM to get some sleep (she said to take a couple, I find that one does the trick). It is not harmful to the baby and it allows me to sleep through the constant motion/jabs/kicks and summersalts! It's less healthy for you to be sleep deprived than it is to take a sleep-aid to which your dr gives her/his blessing.

My husband is still awakened by the kicks to his back but I am finally able to sleep through the whole shebang.

For what it's worth: my daughter was also very active in utero and has not stopped moving since the minute she was born.

Well I'm 33 weeks with a boy and the ironic thing is it's always been the opposite, all my girls have been extremely active and with my two boys it was the opposite, with Ezra I could basically sleep the whole night and he was very calm, and with this baby it's the same way but with my girls it was horrendous.
Charlotte was pretty calm too but since I had basically no fat on my body before I became pregnant with her, her elbows and feet would protrude. What always helped me with my twins, Tracy and Noah and my daughter Jane whom were the most active pregnancies was my husband bought this massage chair thing. It was for him but towards the end that was the only way I could "sleep", in a reclining position like susieqzee.
With Jane as soon as I would try to fall asleep she'd start moving and flailing her limbs and the movement from the massage chair would calm her down and make it easier to sleep.
