Some of you were wondering about how a girl could get pregnant at 11 years old. Well, I just thought I'd let you know that I was talking to a friend today who works at an OB/GYN office, and she said they have had girls at 9 years old start their period. She said she wonders if girls are developing sooner because of our diets- like the added hormones in chicken. Anyway, I was just saying this to say it is very possible for a girl that young to become pregnant. It is unbelievable to think that a girl that young would be sexually active, but sadly, many kids (but not all) are learning things very young and are growing up too fast because their parents are letting them, or are not paying attention to what they are doing.
