counting your chickens before they hatch... By lilyA 6 Months Ago Okay well Jamie is really into this becoming a dad type thing its atually ironic he's more hyped about it than Natty and he's not even the real dad, but the point of this is,Jamie and Natty talk about names a lot..and what its been a few days since we found out! Its at dinner, in the car ,everywhere. I just dont want them to get too hyped and than she has a misscariage or something weird like that.
Can I tell them to stop? Is that wrong???

It is their way of coping. Sort of 'let's think of something positive' so that we won't have to address any other issues. If something should go wrong, deal with it then. After all the trauma that has occurred and with more to come re Court I would let them have this to occupy their minds. If it gets to be too much for you, just say, Kids, I have a headache, can you do this later when I feel better. Right now I am on overload and I just need a breather.
