Re:Need an old southern girl name help!
By cdv 5 Months, 3 Weeks Ago
I like browsing the Net. I believe that "Madison" is one of the Top 100 Girl Names in the Southern States of the USA. Believe me, they don't sound "old"! Old ones are: Truvy, Oisa, Shelby, Arnelle, Dixie, Daisy, Boolie (?)Florine, Idella, Beulah, Loretta Lynn .. et al (maybe if you're a member you could PM me?)

And I was/AM the biggest fan of "Steel Magnolias". How are these then? Truvy Shelby Claree (could be Clare-Ree) Annelle M'Lynn (!!) Ouiser will be left out!!
Scarlett's sisters, SueEllen and Careen. India and Ashley (uni-sex) in the book. Lamarie (from lawyer Lamar = "Big Easy" ) Remy (Quaid (yummy!) = "Big Easy" - Uni-sex)
Charlotte Sue Rayette Ann
Apologies if these are unacceptable or I've repeated some!!
