how do you comfortably tell people you're pregnant? i'm young and very nervous about telling my friends. we had a hard time telling our parents about the situation and are even more nervous to see our friends reactions. any helpful hits? thanks.

Im also young, and i was more worried about my parents reactions than my friends. Let your really close friends kno. then it'll probably spread in the end.. but no matter wat hold your head up and dont worry wat any one else thinks.. its your life, your body. and in the end your baby. and you'll be so happy. another suggestion, jus slip it to them, or ask them wat would they think if you were pregnant. or invite them somewhere and tellt hem like that..

If it's hard for you to tell them directly, there are some indirect routes you could try, for example,

start with your closest friend(s), go to the mall to go shopping and while you are in one of the bigger department stores you can wander into the baby section and start looking at baby clothes and see how your friends react to that. If they seem really uncomfortable then maybe wait for a different situation, but most of the time when you take girls (may not work for guys) into a baby clothes section they get all mushy and start thinking about babies and that might be a good lead-in for the whole baby discussion with them.

Another option could be to simply write them a letter (not an e-mail) and give it to them to read.

I think if they are good friends, they might be shocked at first but they'll be happy for you.
