I'm a teenager and i just found out that i am pregnant. I have told my boyfriend and he really wants to keep the baby. I'm not sure if i want to keep it though because i dont think im ready to be a good mom yet. its really late at night and ive been up all night tryin to wokr out wat to do. should i keep it? how do i know if m ready or not? help!

I am concerned for you. You sound very scared. Have you considered talking to a medical professional, phycologist or family planning clinic? Maybe you should think about seeking advice from one of these before you make this life-changing decision. Either way, personally i believe it is your body, your choice, but please...take into consideration speaking to someone, your mom even perhaps...before you do anything.

i was only young when i had my first child and i wish i had waited til i was older cause i missed out on so much and you really dont know what your getting yourself into it is a huge responsibility it is so hard being a young mum especially when you are watching all your friends going out and having fun. also you have to think is this bloke the one,when i had my first i really thought i was in love with this bloke but it wasnt real love when you get older you will understand what i mean. Hey, im 15 and im currently 14wks pregnant.. i kinda kno wat ur going thru except my bf didnt want to keep it.. which was the hardest part.. if he wants it thats a really good thing.. if it was me it would be a reason id thinkof keeping it..
think of it in the long term tho, sleepless nights, money going quickly, but also the good things like unconditional love and a best friend.. i always wanted to keep mine so its kinda hard to give you too much advice.. i kno its a bad way to look at it, but i looked at it as i couldnt kill it. altho its not really killing.. and if you decide to give it up, dont look at the ultrasound.. that wil be the hardest part.. i think keep it if your ready you love it
