Have any of you who know the sex of your baby or who already had kids found success with the needle test?

You tie a needle to a string and hold your wrist out. Someone else moves the needle up and down to get it swinging then holds it above your wrist. If it swings back and forth is a boy, circular is a girl, and if it immediately stops swinging then you won't have any more children. For example, everytime I do this (and different people do it to me every time), I get a back and forth the first time, then a circular, then the third time it goes straight, meaning I will supposedly have a boy, then a girl, and that is all.

It is just for fun, but I have a friend who has 4 kids and it has predicted all of them. Has anyone else heard of this?

Yes I have heard of this and it has predicted that I would have two boys.

lol yeah I did this....It said I would have all boys...well one boy and 3 girls later I am not thinking it worked lol.

I have heard of this needle test, only the needle was placed on my stomach not my wrist. It is a old wives tale.

Hi i did this test with the last 3 of my pregnancies and it seemed too work. We have used this test again this time around and it predicted a boy. Was completely convinced then we were having another boy and at my scan they are 95% sure we are having another girl. So it did not work for me this time. Must say though it is freaky and has worked for loads of my friends and gets me everytime.
