I can only imagine what must be runnithrouh your young mind. 12 is a young age to become pregnant and 13 young to give birth. Can u discuss your concerns and fears with your mother. Also, have u talked to your doctor about your pregnancy and if your young age will require any special procedures during your pregnancy or delivery?

It is natural to be scared of giving birth. I don't think that many woman can say that they were not scared at one point. Have you talked to you mom about your fears? What you had an in depth conversation with your doctor of your fears?

Wow. Please talk with your mom and your OB doctor about your fears and concerns. Be sure to discuss pain relief options such s epidurals, it definately makes it easier. Most of the the time though, your Dr. will not perform a C-section unless it is medically necessary for your health and that of your baby. Good luck.

Hi there,
I know it seems really scary but everyone will you through it. It is actually easier to have your vaginally then C section. With C section the healing time is a lot longer. I have a cousin who had a baby at 14. She had it natural and was perfectly fine. It will be hard for you but remember that the people there do this everyday. They have seen it all and heard it all. Don't be afraid to ask quetions about what is happening. I know you think you don't know much because of your age but honestly i didn't know much when I gave birth to my first child at 30. I would suggest to get an epidural as soon as they admit you, Tis will take away most of the pain and you will probably be able to sleep though most of it. Just take it easy and talk to whoever you can. just remember it can't be that bad if women are willing to go through it more than once.
