By puck 4 Months, 3 Weeks Ago im not sure if they will let you if its not medically necessary. can i ask why you dont want a natural birth? a c-section is surgery, and will not be any easier on your body. if they let you request a c-section and you go into labour early, they will try their best to fit you in, but since its not medically necessary it might not happen the way you want. i think its a bit silly that you want this, but its your body, so good luck to you anyway.

Re:ok i have decided By Granny Nora 4 Months, 3 Weeks Ago Britte, I have had three c-sections I couldn't delivery normally and all I ever wanted was to be able to sit up and hold my baby as soon as it was delivered. C-sections hurt, not during the surgery of course but after, you can't cough without pain. You can't roll over without pain, sitting up is so difficult without having pain. This lasts for at least a week to 10 days. You need to speak with your doctor. They have ways for you to have no pain during a regular delivery. Remember your body get itself ready to deliver vaginally. The hormones in your body get your body ready to stretch and this goes away after your baby is born. I know it doesn't happen much anymore, but in the oldin days women would squat in the cotton fields and have their babies and keep right on working. Check out of books in the library about pregnancy and delivery and speak with an adult who has had children, and also talk with your doctor. Maybe you and your boyfriend can take a childbirth delivery class to help you. Good luck Britte.

Re:ok i have decided By new mami 4 Months, 3 Weeks Ago I am 16 and I had my baby boy 8 days after I turned 16. He is almost three months now and I had a c-section, but not by choice... my baby was in risk of dying by not having enough oxygen because my placenta was getting old. But let me tell you... after wards it hurts like hell when you first try to get up. You feel almost like your belly is going to fall off... and you dont even want to know what hell it is to take a shower... I had to have help for about a week. But honestly I am young and so are you and I have healed very quickly. My family was always yelling at me because when I got home I was up and walking around, but it is good for you to walk around. You heal faster and I certainly did. Everyone was so surprised because by the second week it was like I never even had surgery. If you cant handle long term pain... dont get a c-section, because it could last for weeks. I had a friend and it lasted a month and a half. As with natural birth it only last a few hours. But over all it is your decision. And also think about the scar you will have... mine is so ugly... if you get one make sure the do it sideways... and take care of your belly not to get stretch marks... put lots and lots of lotion on and find a special cream if you can

Re:ok i have decided By twins_for_us 4 Months, 3 Weeks Ago You might have to have a c-section since your so young, but you have to think of the risks.
1. You could lose a lot of blood and have a stroke or go into heart falier. 2. Recovery is painful and can take forever 3. The stiches in you stomach can come undone anytime after the birth. Yes that mean you will have visable holes in you stomach. Anyway, I doute they'll let you make that decision since you've already make a bad choice when you decided to have sex at twelve.

By danni 4 Months, 3 Weeks Ago I don't know what to say, but i want to help. I'm not a doctor but i am aparamedic pregnant with triplets.
i haven't had a baby as yet. but i think the best way to find out is speak to your dr. They should tell you what they think. depending on your size. I've been told that if everything goes well then i may go natural. Which is what i wanted. But i'll take c section if it means my babies will be okay. You don't have to answer me but just so that i've got a clear picture. but how far along are you? have you been to regular appiontment's? And does you parents know? And please no one will judge you. where here to help.
