Re:ABORTION - WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? By bella123 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago Whoever said Hallie shouldn't have posted this is out of line. She stated claearly that you could send her a private email if you felt uncomfortable and why did you even bother posting something? She has the right to ask questions. Anyway, back on topic, i think there are a variety of reasons to make abortions acceptable and unaccebltable. Each person's situation is different and i really think abortion is a personal choice. However, i don't think i could ever go through with it. Hope that helps.

Re:ABORTION - WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? By CariannDS 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago I am prochoice, but personally I would always choose life. I believe a life is a life from the moment of conception and if you choice an abortion you are choosing not to allow that life to begin; however this is just my belief and it is not my right or anyone else’s right to tell someone else how to choose.
My step-sister had an abortion but I was not involved in the decision making process. I only found out years later when I over heard a conversation. I doubt, for her, it was a very agonizing decision. Personally I agree she shouldn't have had another child but I think adoption may have been a better option in her circumstance. Of course in situations of rape or life endangerment of the mother or child the situation is different which is why I am prochoice. I sympathize with anyone whom is faced with making such an agonizing decision. Good luck with your report. Last Edit: 2008/07/16 09:37 By CariannDS.

Re:ABORTION - WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? By happy2bme 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago I don't believe it is in our hands to decide if a baby should live or not. A baby is a baby from conception, created by God. I have this verse in my baby's scrapbook on the page with his sonogram pictures: "For You formed my inward parts, You wove me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:13-14.

ABORTION is very wrong, i am not very religious but it is still wrong no one should be able to take the life of their own child, and it is heart breaking to hear that people would even want to. but if you have any more questions that you would like opinions on and you are scared to ask on here just private messsage me and i will try in every way to help. candace(6 weeks and 4 days Pregnant)

By puck 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago hi hallie,
i have kind of a skewed opinion on abortion, and a reason for it. i used to be 100% against abortion. then i got pregnant with my second child. we were told at the 16 week ultrasound that he had fragile x and crush syndrome and had no chance of living. we were given the option of abortion and did not take it. he was born at 27weeks 4days gestation, and lived for 2 hours 51 minutes. and you could see it, he was in pure agony the whole time. i didnt even know a baby could have crush. he couldnt even scream. we held our beautiful boy the whole time and i couldn't help thinking 'would it be better if we had aborted'. i am still against abortion in most circumstances, but sometimes it might be better that way, for everyone. i would give anything for him to not have to have gone through that kind of pain. it was horrifying. i was so sure of who i was, what was right and wrong, but this shook the foundation of everything i knew, and im still not sure if i would abort or not would the situation happen again.
