I agree with everyone else here.. why would you want a baby at 17? Are you crazy girl!?

I know nothing we all say will change your mind but please reconsider what you are planning to do, no word of a lie a baby does takes everything you've got physically, emotionally and financially! Wouldnt you like to give your baby the best in life, give your child everything he/she wants & needs.. because you wont be able to do all this without a good job and a stable enviroment. A baby needs to be with you 24-7, your lucky if you get a bath in peace let alone a night out with your friends!
I had my first child when i were 21 and trust me it is very hard, i always knew it was going to be hard but i never realised just how hard. Me & my husband both work full time- while my daughter goes in a day nursery- so we can both provide for her and give her the very best in life, everything we do is for our daughter & every bit of money we earn is to provide for her and the house we live in plus pay for her nursery fees.. let me tell you its not easy & doesnt come cheap.

Why not talk to a close friend or family member that has been a teen mum, so they can tell you themselves just how hard it is hopefully that will change your mind.

I have been trying to get through to you for a very long time but just listen to me i'm 18 and 7 weeks pregnant and i am still not ready for a baby it isn't going to be like a baby doll that you can just stop playing with after you get tired of it or a puppy that you can just give away. you are still a child live that life and have fun. i promise you if you do get pregnant at 17 you will regret it. i'm not saying i regret my child but i regret not going out and having fun when i had that chance.i'm not trying to be rude to you but me and other mommys are just trying to give you the information you asked for but if you are not willing to listen to us you shouldn't even be asking for help.

Dont you have ambition and think more of yourself and your family to do that?

Im 17 and pregnant, i didnt plan it and i was using contraception, but the pill didnt work for me.
Im still having an education, im at college and i am determined to make the best out of everything. Its going to be seriously hard, exhausting and anything but a walk in the park.

How about you go to one of those teenage mum groups and listen to what they say about it, trust me, you have NOT thought this threw.

Ask anyone who has a child, any age and the reaction will be the same.

Wait till your finacially capable, old enough to look after yourself aswell as another life & you are emotionaly stable..
