the same thing with me ..I got a baby girl she is a year old, me and my husband want to have another one but my mom wants us to wait.. I keep tellin myeslf that it is my life not theirs , and u need to too . If u guys wanna have more go ahead and have more . I think that it is way earsier to have the kids closer together..

Why do you need to tell your parents anything right now? I would just start trying, and when you become pregnant and decide the time is right, you can tell them the good news then. It does not matter what they think. You and your husband want your children to be close and you and he are the ones taking care of them, so it shouldn't matter to anyone else. My husband and I were hoping for 3 children around 2 years apart, but it hasn't happened that way so far. We have a 20 month old son and have been trying for several months now. It only took 3 months with him, but this time it's just not happening. So you never know how long it might take, even if you got pregnant easily before. So I would be trying now if you would like for them to be close.

ME AND MY HUBBY ARE IN THE SAME BOAT!!! WE HAVE 2 SONS AND ARE NOW TRYING FOR OUR THIRD. OUR OLDEST WILL BE 3 IN SEPT. AND OUR YOUNGEST JSUT TURNED 1 THIS MONTH. BOTH ARE FAMILES HAD EXPRESSED THAT THEY WANTED US TO HAVE NO MORE CHILDREN BECAUSE I HAVE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE FIRST 2. OUR OLDEST WAS BORN 5 WEEKS EARLY AND OUR YOUNGEST 3 WEEKS EARLY. BUT WHEN I WAS PREGGO WITH # 2 WE FOUND OUT I HAVE A CONDITION CALLED BARTTER'S SNYDROM(PROBLEM WITH MY KIDNEYS) AND THAT IS THE REASON I HAD THE FIRST EARLY. ANYWAY TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT WE DECIDED TO TRY AGAIN NOW AND MY FAMILY WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND SAID THAT IF THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT WE REALLY WANTED AND WERE READY FOR IT THEN GO FOR IT!!!!! MY HUBBY'S FAMILY WAS A LIL SLOWER TO COME AROUND BUT IN THE END THEY HAVE EXCEPTED IT. I THINK THAT YOUR FAMILY WILL TO IF NOT BEFORE YOU GET PREGGO THEN AFTER OR WHEN THEY SEE THAT BABY FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!! GOOD LUCK JUST BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR DECISION!!

i understand what you are going thru. me and my hubby are in a similar situation. our son was born 10 weeks early and spent 9 weeks in the nicu. my husband is coming back from iraq, and we are planning on trying again. our families do not think it's a good idea. but when it comes down to it. you need to do what is best for your family. your parents will understand and get behind you and support you as soon as they see you are pregnant again. remember to follow doctors advices. but go for it. they are just worried that the past will repeat itself. from what i have been told, most preemies have a high sucess rate anytime after 3o weeks...that was the statistic given to me any my hubby before we had our beautiful 14month old son. take ccare
