I was recently started on Glumetza by my gynecologist to regulate my periods. Ultrasound and blood work were normal so I don't have polycystic ovary syndrome as we had previously thought. Has anyone been on this medicine before? If so, how long did it take you to get pregnant after starting this medicine and getting your periods regulated? Thanks in advance.

Glucophage is also a medicine for Diabetes. I take it twice a day for my diabetes.

My neice is using for female issues, I believe for period regulating. I know she has had weight loss and some regulation. wish I could help more.

Thanks susieqzee. Is your niece trying to have a baby? I've only been on this medicine since August 14 twice a day. I go back to see my doctor October 13.

No she is not trying to have a baby. Her reasons were to regulate her cycles and also her pancreas does not handle the insulin correctly.
