I'm really worried...need your opinions!
By xpecting 5 Months, 2 Weeks Ago
Sorry if this is t.m.i in this post but.....

Last night my husband and had sex and when we were finished I went to the bathroom, and there was light pink spots in my discharge. I didn't have cramps any worse than usual, or any other symptoms, just light pink spots. This morning I still feel sick, my breasts are still really tender, and I don't have any back pains or bad cramps. Everything feels normal. I went to the E.R. last night since getting into see a doctor at that moment in an army hospital is near impossible, but after 6 hours of waiting and still not being seen by a doctor we came home because the pink spots went away and I wasn't feeling any worse than normal. I know I still need to see a doctor asap and I'll just pay to see a regular ob/gyn if I don't see a doctor at the hospital on base soon. Do I need to worry about miscarriage in the mean time?

You're right you should still see a Doc, but I think most likely you're ok. If it was light pink it was most likely because having sex irritated your cervix and the soft tissues around it. You have extra blood flow to the area when you're pregnant and the little blood vessels will break when irritated. You may spot after pelvic exams also. Usually light pink or brown with no cramping aren't a big worry, however since you haven't seen a Doc yet I would recommend not having sex until you do and he/she says you're clear. I know you have Tricare and frustrating that can be, I am an ex marine wife of 10 years and had 3 kids in the system. I was just wondering how close to the base you are? If you live an hour or more from the hospital they have to send you to a civilian Doc, but sometimes they don't volunteer this info. Also you can go to a civilian emergency room any time you need too just call within 24 hours for an authorization number, they can't deny you. Just a thought because you may get into a civilian ER easier. Hope you can work it all out. Good luck!!

if the spotting has stopped and u dont have cramps and so on in my opinion i think u will b fine BUT u must still see the doc, i could b signs of stress? ((military life is a bitch..lol)) or many things .. dont go fretting over the worse case scenario just yet, trust that if something was wrong ur body would let u know in no uncertain terms,,
that sed... make an appointment for the necessary scans to make sure all is cruising along nice and healthy
