Every pregnancy is different, but I think it is normal with all the hormones floating around during pregnancy.

This is my first pregnancy and it seems like any little thing can bring on the water works. I would maybe be concerned however If the crying is accompanied by an enduring feeling of sadness then maybe bring it up with your doctor, especially if the feeling of sadness lasts longer than two weeks because some women do experience pregnancy depression.

But there is so much going on with our bodies during pregnancy that even the tiniest thing can seem overwhelming or a silly commercial can totally touch your heart...it's weird but as far as I know normal

Hope that helps. When in doubt though, bring it up with your doctor, it's what they are there for

I've never heard of depression/sadness during pregnancy, I've heard that we should be at our most relaxed (Bovine! they call it), even with hormones doing their thing all around our bodies!! I was with my daughter but AFTER the birth I cried about Everything, but it got better before it turned into real post-partum depression.
Maybe you'll be lucky and have NONE after the birth but please see about it .. there is a medication called Eglonyl, don't know if you have it where you are. (or maybe another name). It's a relaxant and also helps to stimulate the milk after the birth (i.e. if you're going to breast-feed) but I don't see why you could not take it now.

ok ok
ppl will tell u that crying is a natural hormonalpart of pregnancy , ad yeah to an extent it is..
but if ur in such a state that u feel that u cant control the when and where of the emotional outburst, then maybe u need to see a doc..
now medication IS NOT the only way to go, ur GP ((MD in US)) should b able to recommend some relaxation techniques , get hubby to give u a massage, have a hot shower...
i implore u to try ANYTHING else b4 jumping on the medication bandwagon, that crap is harder to stop than ppl might think, not frm addiction but if u just stop taking for a cpl days u will wind up back where u started maybe worse,.

Tranquillizers can hook you solid!!
Eglonyl is an ANTI-DEPRESSANT OF THE MILDEST FORM and is recommended by BABY CLINICS. I have seen a pal relax to enable her to breast-feed for NEARLY A YEAR! You have to be weaned off SLOWLY!
