I am almost 36 weeks pregnant with my first little girl.

At my doctors appointment this past week, she said I was dialted to 1, and 40% effaced. I am having a lot of mild-moderate cramping and pressure here and there.

Everyone keeps telling me that she will be here within the next few weeks. Of course I can't wait, but I'm so afraid she will be to early! Are they right? Will it really go that fast? And if she is born a few weeks early will she be ok?

It's amazing to know that she will be here. I love her so much. But i am so scared about labor, and her being healthy.

The doctor is right and aslong as your baby is a fighter she will be ok if she is a few weeks early. if she holds on then she will be born closer to her due date ne way. i hope all goes well..and u get to hold ur precious little girl soon.

Everything will be fine, don't worry. 40 weeks is considered full term, but many women give birth before that.

My sister and I were both born at around 36 weeks and we turned out fine.

My son was born at around 38 weeks, my daughter at around 36 and they both turned out okay.

my daughter was born at 36 weeks and she was fine i was dialated to 5 for like 2 weeks so you can still have a few weeks to go if you dr was really worried they would have you on bed rest and medicine to prevent contractions
