I would say go for it Cariann. I thought about having my kids three years apart as well, and I am glad that I did not wait. My kids are 25 months apart and they are so close. The time has to be right for you though.

i have a 3.5 year age gap between my eldest and my second child. i found that gap to be fantastic!!!!
I am going to have an age gap of 18 months between my second and my 3rd when he is born and i am quite nervouse about how hard it is all going to be!

If you were 24, I would totally say wait, but since you are approx. 34 (if I did the math right) I would recommend going for it (assuming that your hubby is up for it too). Not only does the risk of pregnancy problems and chromosome mutations go up substantially with age, but the difficulty with which you do get pregnant can increase just as much. Even if you see yourself as a "fertil mertyl" and conceived your first with only one try, you may have trouble trying to conceive now (so she may be 4 by the time you conceive), but you will most likely have trouble if you do wait until you are 35+.

Also, could you take your child to Disney World now (or soon) so that it doesn't get interrupted by a pregnancy/new baby?

I would say go for it, that is if hubby is game, as your age is against you and I personal think that 2-3 year gap between the two is good as they can be playmates and the older one is old enough to help you out with the little one and through personal experience (friends) if the gap is too big the older one tends to get jelouse as they feel the younger is getting all the attantion.
