after birth pain
By Hollie_Mama 3 Years, 3 Months Ago
My friend asked me to post this:
She had her baby about 2 weeks ago and shes been having pains the doctor said its just periods etc. But today she felt REALLY bad just like the same pain she had when she was prege with her baby and it got really REALLy bad all i know so far it isent that shes ill or anything.
Any suggestions? My other mate said maybe its another baby! Is it possible she got pregnant again? Or was there originaaly twins?

is she breast feeding??
if she is then it may very well just be that her uterus is contracting,((breast feeding makes the contractions harder)) u usually feel it worse after ur 2nd or 3rd, and yes it does feel like labour all over again and can be excrutiating, its one of the things ppl rarely tell you about...

if she is still worried & doesnt trust her doctor, she should get a 2nd opinion,

That is so true Seaasons - nobody tells you about the Uterus cramps that occur, for a while after the babe is born. Im just curious if she had a C-section, or vag delivery, because C-section healing takes a while. I am just so surprised when I read about these moms who think they are pregnant again, after 2 or 3 weeks delivery - cause after my boys were born, I was so stitched up, I would not even consider having intercourse again that soon.

Yes I agree, I would definitely go to the doctor, for advice.
