silversky32 (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 460   Re:Inducing Labor By silversky32 3 Years, 2 Months Ago the best advice I got for helping with pain and what I used with all 4 of mine is to concentrate on keeping your hands open and relaxed during contractions. Once your hands clench your entire body tenses and it makes the contraction much worse. It really really helps.
