I went to see my midwife friday and after she tested my wee she said i had high leucocytes, she asked if id got an infection but i said no she didnt seem to botherd but looking on net it sounds bad can anyone help with the explination please

This is usually related to a high blood count pathology which is infiltrating the urinary space. In other words they are white blood cells. The regualar is 0-5 . If higher then you probably have an infection but you can't be certain you would have to see a doctor. Your white blood cells fight infection so in other words your body thinks you have an infection and is acting on it. If u have an urinary track infection water and cranberry juice if often reccomended. I have come across alot of people (lets give and example 10 people) in my line of work with similiar problems and nearly all but one was fine and ALL had heathly babies the other one that had the most problems stayed in hospital and had a C-section and stayed around 7-10 days and was fine afterwards.
