i fell in love with my 1st anesthetist, i even proposed to him in front of my husband i was induced and it was a hard labour, when he gave it to me it was INSTANT relief...LOL
with my 3rd baby, i also had one, but i didnt get a full block, as i still wanted to feel the contractions and the pain ((i know weird huh?)) he just gave me enough to take the edge off the pain ((i dont react too well to pain, i was actually trying to climb the wall to get out of my body..lol )) and it worked, she was born 20 minutes later..
my advise is if u want one, go for it, u dont have to get the full spinal block, u can get a "walking epidural"
oh and keep real still when they give it 2 u..
