I had to have an emergency c-sec they riped my uterus and i lost alot of blood i had to have a cathiter and a drain put in, the next day i had to have 3pt blood transfusion and my milk didnt kick in so i couldnt feed my baby properly, when i came out of hosp im on iron tabs now i have an infection in my c-sec and been back to hosp twice, doc twice and the midwives keep coming out but dont seem to do anything now today ive got lots of crap oozing from it yellow and sticky, im so fed up and depressed im crying all the time coz i just want to enjoy my baby, has anyone else had a bad time and what could i do to try to cheer myself up

I've never had a c section before (i've never even been pregnant) but i'm sorry about your situation. i hope it gets better for you

Hey hun well I'm sorry that your sad! You know this is my first but I would start throwing a fit and make someone fix it! How's the baby I haven't been on here much so I didn't know you were back on I'm having a girl and we are naming here cameryn Meree I'm excited

1st things 1st u need to keep the wound clean and dry, if it oozes, clean it straight away, if it is still in a dressing, try letting it air out for a while, and drink plenty of water & OJ ((oranges are GR8 for open wounds the Vit C helps ALOT!! so maybe even get some Vit C Tablets))..

2nd, are u on anti biotics? u may need them at this point..

3rd try not to get around too much as the movement may aggrivate the wound..

4th talk to ur doctor, i know u have said that u have been back numerous times, but did u actually discuss ur fears and frustrations with him? u NEED to do that..

5th .. honey just remeber u have had MAJOR surgery, its not a light procedure, it takes a while to recover, just go easy on urself.
