Baby always crying
By NovaMamma 5 Months, 2 Weeks Ago
First week home from the hospital and EBF, why is the baby always crying? Does it mean something is wrong or is it normal? Maybe its a growth spurt?! I appreciate any advice!!

My baby was the same, have you spoke to your midwife or health vistor about it?? Dont be scared to, thats what they are there for! I was the same with my daughter- didnt know what to do, if something was wrong ect.. in the end i spoke to my midwife and explained what what happening and when.
In the end it turn out to be nothing major, the baby milk my daughter was on was just too thick for her little tummy and was lying heavy on her tummy and making her uncomfortable- in the end i had to change her milk to a more lighter milk and then everything was fine after a couple of wks.

Now my daughter is a happy, joyful baby! But trust me talk to your health vistor about it too, it will make you feel better and put your mind at rest.

My little girl didn't stop crying and also didnt sleep, she was very unsettled. I took her to an oestopathe in the end, he did wonders with her. It was all to do with the bad labour I had with her. very happy settled girl now. good luck

First of all, talk to your doctor. If everything checksout o.k., then try holding the baby skin to skin. Do you have a carrier? Try carring the baby around. Try feeding the baby more often. If your breastfeeding feed the baby every 2-3 hours, formula ever 3-4 hours (and burping is very important when using bottles). There are over the counter gas medicines but talk to your doctor first. Try rocking, music, T.V. (for noise only, not watching). Hope this helps.
