i used playtex even flow they worked fine for me but im also one to say that formula is formula as long as it has iron! mind u some babies dont tolerate to much iron but definetly try it first ur gunna go through alot of formula i would suggest a cheaper brand lol my oldest i nearly went broke buying efamil a+ the most expensive brand there was!

We attempted Enfamil at first with my daughter. She became constipated. The Dr. said that Enfamil tends to do that and to try Nestle Good Start b/c it is the most like breast milk. My sister's Dr. told her the same thing when she was switching between breast milk and formula with her daughter. I've heard good things about similac and I know our Sam's club carries it in bulk. A friend of mine just had a baby in Nov. and Similac is the only brand he can tolerate. When my daughter was 5 weeks old she was in the hospital and we were forced to alternate between good start and similac and she had no problems with that. I think that each brand is a bit different and you will have to try it out to see which works best for your little one.

Similac is good, my son loved it - however asking other mothers its a matter of taste sometimes one formula works while the other doesnt

I worked for a ped. Dr. for 10 yrs. He recommended Good Start Orange can, if you can afford it. It is the best formula out there. Also as far as bottle go, it is purley preference. Just get a nipple that drips slowly so your baby doesn't gulp and take in too much air and cause stomach pain (gas). This can cause a baby to be up for hours crying. Dr. Brown's bottle seem to be really popular, and Avent. Avent would be my choice for a new one and it is the choice my daughter is making she is pregnant with our second grandchild.

Enfamil is not the most expensive formula, Good Choice is.

WE USED CARNATION GOOD START BCUZ OUR SON HAD TROUBLE TAKING ANYTHING ELSE. IT IS VERY GENTLE ON THE BABIES STOMACH.
