By Nonny 5 Months, 3 Weeks Ago Hi, Oh my goodness! Thank you for all your kind words and thoughts. I have been at my daughter's taking care of my grandchildren. Her husband was out of town for several days so I simply stayed there taking care of my grandchildren. Between their soccer practices/games and baseball games we were pretty much on the move until the rain storms came and we lost power. Then my daughter, thinking she had put her back out of place, phoned from work to say she was in misery and was on her way to a walk-in medical facility. The medical personnel there, thinking it might be appendicitis, sent her to a local hospital emergency room. After testing she was diagnosed with kidney stones. She's been given medicine and if the stone (s) are still a problem on Monday they will 'laser' them. I stayed on to help her and I am so glad I did. Just when things were calming down, she discovered her youngest had not closed the door securely on their freezer in the basement. Combined with the power outage she lost $$$ of food. She had just restocked it a week earlier. Now she had six garbage bags full of soggy half-thawed food! She just sat and cried, then Ashtyn Marie, the guilty party, cried, then my grandson cried because his mother and sister were crying. I told them I couldn't handle any more water because I don't know how to swim! Laughter helped and everyone survived. We'll just add this as another chapter to our saga of family adventures. I am back home for a few days and then will head back once again to take care of my cherubs as our son-in-law has another few days of out of town business. Hopefully, things will be calmer. Each and every one of you helps others far more than you know. I think your daughter is very lucky to have such a great mom to be there when she has a melt down. I miss my mother lived close! All your comments really have made a difference and thank you!
