By newmommyinjan 10 Months, 1 Week Ago
My baby was born two weeks ago today....he's not having trouble breastfeeding...I am!! Seems like I only got milk in one breast and not enough anyway! Anyone else having/had this problem? I feel like a failure of a mother

ITs a common problem, its realy painful - try to ask a breast feeding consultant the most important is keep on trying but its better to consult with a pro.

I have three-month-old daughter, she came early, and from the very first days I have had a problem with breastfeeding. I havenīt enough milk to feed my little one. At first, as you are, I felt guilty. I have to feed her additionaly... but then I realized that my prominent duty is to feed her and ensure that she is happy and healthy. Please, donīt feel like a bad mom, you love your baby and you will always be here for him. You can also try some herbs. But, first of all, realize that you are a good mom! Because I know you are.

Drink plenty of water and if the baby is nursing off the breast that is not producing it will probably stimulate it and start it working.

Don't feel like a bad mom, usually the "pro's" like to make you feel bad, but you are not.
