Breast Feeding
By Honeez 2 Months Ago
hello everyone,

I have a question sometimes when I nurse my baby it hurts when she's suckin it feels like a nerve is begin pinched & pulled im usually layin down. when shes done my breast is tender is there a way I can fix this problem.

layin down is better because when she falls asleep I don't have to touch or move her. When she falls asleep in my arms & I put her down she wakes up & wants more milk..

Thanks in advance

My daughter has latching on problems all the time. She'll do fine for a while and then she gets lazy or forgets how to do it properly. Make sure her mouth is opening wide and she is sucking on the entire areola and not just the nipple and her tongue needs to be positioned correctly. When she is feeding you can gentally pull down on her chin to guide her tounge into the correct position. If you ahve continuing problems contact or OB or the hosptal for put you in contact with a lactation consultant.
