congat ulations

I just posted my story but I'll put in this one.


I'll give the background info though...

When I was 15 Ryan's older sister was my tutor, at my highschool everyone knew who Ryan was he was like the hottest guy, he was kind of like a man whore but not really. I remember I was at the house when I saw Ryan walk in, I never knew they were siblings until this one day he walked out of his room in basket ball shorts and a t-shirt that said No Clothes Beyond This Point, he was wearing some weird sandals and his long blonde hair was pulled into girly piggy tails. I started cracking up and than he winked at me and I was like whoa I want to marry this kid.
We didn't talk for a while until I was put in a guitar class and he was the teachers aid because he was so amazing at guitar and one day he asked me out for smoothies and we've been together ever since.



oh and here's the engagemnt story if you haven't already seen it hehe


So were building the crib and you know how there all these loose screws and parts and stuff. We were busily essembling when I started craving ice cream and chinease crunchy noodles so I went into the kitchen and than I went back upstairs to where the crib is and I saw all the screws on the floor I got really mad because Ryan wasn't in the room and I felt obligated to pick them up and I shouldn't be doing stuff like that so whatever, I bent down and was picking up the screws and than I picked something up that wasn't a screw and realized it was a ring. Than Ryan apeared in the room and said, "Would you"?

SO yeah I said yes!!!!!!!

Oh you all have such lovely stories. Mine will be for humor unfortunatly.
It was 1973...yep, a LONG time ago, 35 years ago this last month. I had just completed high school and a friend introduced me to this very mice young man. A church going, good ole Southern boy. Rode a motorcycle, not like a harley or anything, but a smaller Honda.
Anyway we became a couple the 2nd time we met. we had set up at friends, talking ALL night long. Within one month he was saying how fun it would be to go to his home state (about 1800) miles from my home town, so he could introduce me to his folks. Things were different back then, and I said , "Oh that would look real good, you showing up with some girl you sleeping with." And he said." well we will just have to get married first". I asked if he was kidding, he said no, and 7 weeks later, after knowing each other only 2 1/2 months, we were married.
Romantic? No. Engagement ring? No. Marriage last? Well we lived together only 16 years of the 30 years we were legally married.

Maybe someday I will still get that romantic proposal and ring....sigh........

I'm going to tell the story of how we met from my perspective.

The day we met I was going to the sophmore - freshman brawl and here's this nerd sitting at my living room table. My sister was talking to her about some chemistry thing so I decided I'd brighten up the mood and walk in the room. She started laughing like a crazy person I thought it was cute.
She was in guitar with me and Natalia got really hot so we expressed intertest in each other and here we are today.

Oh my gosh, those are awsome stories!!!
