My son isn't circumcised and he is nearly 8 with no problems at all. My husband is but after we read about it and saw a video we said forget it for the baby. We also thought it interesting that our health insurance considered it a cosmetic procedure. Which it is. We are expecting another baby boy now and we won't subject him to it either. It does HURT them, even if they are numb at the time it wears off and then they have to heal and just imagine this big cut on your vagina while you are peeing. OUCH! Please don't.

Circumcision is the norm in the United States. Most American boys are circumcised. No harm can come from growing up with a circumcised penis. Circumcised penises are much cleaner naturally, and are much easier to clean and keep clean. Circumcised males are also much less likely to contract sexually transmitted diseases.

Uncircumcised males are 5 times more likely to get AIDS, for example.

ok im just going to say that there are two other posts called circumsion so I would go back and read them because I dont want t rewrite what I said.
Also It doesnt matter how good you clean a uncircumsied penis it still can get infected. Just read my post and you'll understand what im saying and why. here I'll even bring them back up for you so you dont have to look for them
Last Edit: 2008/10/13 02:22 By Justins1favmom. Reason: I meant UNcircumsised

Of course. But men with uncircumcised penises are much more likely to get an infection.
