Noticed there are alot of new members oh well.

Any way I can't belive my babies are 2 months old now, I remember when I was getting sewn up after my c-section and a neonatolijist leaned over the drapping and told me that my daughters were in very critical condition, and that these first 36 hours are crucial and it could be very possible I could loose my little girls.

Well hah! my girls are now two months old Ella is home and acting like a normal new born and Shea is no longer in an isolation chamber for a full 24 hour day in fact she's only in it when she's in a deep sleep. Shea does have cerebal palsy but bleeding was minimal and I'm looking forward to having her home by New Years.

Hope is real! I was told my daughters wouldn't survive their first days on this Earth and hey look where they are....

Ella can almost sit up all by her self, she babbles, and giggles and smiles. and Shea can pick her head up and babble and smile.

Here's my advice to premie parents...believe in your children, if a doctor tells you your babies wont make stay positive...get another opionion.

Wow! Ella is almost sitting up at only two months? Most babies don't sit up until they're 6 to 10 months old. That's kinda funny! Especialy considering she was a micro premie and shouldn't even be born yet (they were 4 months premature right?). Heck, it's amazing that she's even out of the hospital now.

My boys are almost 4 months old (2 months adjusted) and a nowhere near sitting up while unassisted.

I hope Shea can make it home by New Years!

i remember when you where trying to figure out names as well! wow, its seems so long ago now lol. aww, well, i hope Shea is home for the New Year!

It's really good to hear your little ones are strong and developing so well! You've done a great job so far coping with everything and your little girls really owe it to you for fighting for them!
