I have this boy friend that I love to death. Well before me last year he liked this girl that he was going to ask out that killed herself. Well he felt soo bad and thought that he was the reason why she did that he almost killed himself 2. well we have been going out for like a week now. i talked to him last on the 11th and im getting worried if he regretted not killing himself and did kill him. i am sooo worried. help me please. the thing is though he says he loves me and that we are going to get married and have children together but do you think hes gone?

After such an event as his ex-gf killing herself...don't jump right into talking about getting married and starting a family 1 wk into the relationship.

I've been married for 15 years. no one, and i mean no one, can be truly in love with a person after 1 week. You really barely know him, even if you believe differently. Give it a couple of years and then you will really know. He sounds pretty depressed. Sounds like he has a lot of issues to work out with himself before he is ready for a relationship. And, a person cannot truly love someone else until they learn to love themselves. Also in the long run, you do not want to be with someone if they are really depressed--they will constantly drag you down, and eventually you will begin to feel trapped.

We have known each other for a while we just started going out.. i talked to him today. im really happy i did. he never talks about her just once he did and never again. he tells me that he loves me and he will take care of me and the baby.. we only want to get married soon not babies yet
