Alright well, lately I've been feeling icky. & I haven't started feeling better. I don't know how much longer I can go.. I haven't been able to hold onto Leah as much as I want too. I don't want her to end up being sick or anything. My stepmom said I should wash my hands constantly, and maybe wear a face mask, and gloves. I don't think I could handle seeing her sick again.

So basically, my question for you guys is.. Is there anything I can do to make myself safe? So I don't end up getting Leah sick?

I've had a sore throat for a few days now, and I had a slight fever.

Anything you could suggest would be great.

That's funny cause on Friday I got sick, ofcourse right on the weekend my baby cousin Libby would be in town. I was worried about being around her, but I could't not be around her and hold her!
I would just take medicine, and try not to cough around her, kiss her, or anything that would spread germs, and definately wash hands.

I don't kow what to say to help you with this, but I think that what your setpmom said it's a good idea at least for now. but if you don't get better in the next few days you should see your doctor, and he/she can give you some antibiotics for that this if you're not brestfeeding Leah of course.

just try not to kiss her as much so you don't pass germs on to her wash you hand go and buy some Antibacterial hand sanitizer its good stuff and the usual use tissues throw them away and wash your hands cover mouth when you cough or sneeze its the best you can do
