Im going to tell you a bit about my 12 year old daughter and how she acts and i just want you to say what your opinion of her is!

She wears clothes that are picked by me but this is to make mornings quicker.
She is always making up clubs with her twin sister.
She is really sweet.
She acts a bit younger a lot of the time.
Her sence of humour is very sensitive e.g she laughs at funny sounds ect.
She loves to make up dances with her twin sister.
She is very loud.
She is really good at spelling and genuinely a good performer at school.

Don't nag about the clothes because she doesn't really mind she has never said anything.

She sounds like a typical sweet 12 year old girl. Thank goodness you dont have the argument of what she is going to wear everymorning. That is no fun. My daughter age 8 has gotten alot better this year. But I typically only get things I aprove of her wearing. N then we dont have the fight and she picks her clothes out each night. That has saved alot of time. Is there something impaticular that your wanting to no. Or just wanted to see if she sounds typical.

Just wanting to see if people think she is normal as most of the girls in her year are all acting like adults already!! But thank you

IMO, she seems like a regular 12 year old to me. Kids today are in way too much of a hurry to grow up, well, more than they were a decade ago anyway. I blame technology. I think it's cute that she's still into making clubs and stuff. She's not going to be doing that much longer probably, enjoy it. By next November, she may think of that stuff as babyish. She's only a little girl once, why rush it?

Exactly. Let her be silly. We see the problem on here too often about girls "acting" grown up so soon---teen/unwed pregnancy. And this is not to start another argument or offend people. I remember not long ago at my church I saw a 7yr old girl walking through the hall just being silly and for a split second I thought "Why is she so silly? She should be more mature." Then I quickly corrected myself and thought, "No, she's fine. She's seven--my son's age, a child. Let her be a kid." Of course, not that kids should act totally stupid. They should learn maturity, responsibility, etc. But this society is so crazy. Either we let them be kids since we mandate it anyway, or we let them finish school and get married and have jobs and such by fourteen, and let them grow up. No double standards. If you get my drift.

I want to know the reason that more kids aren't like yours. I mean you actually have a 12yr old and not a 16yr old in a 12yr olds body. I still laugh at funny sounds too so I guess that im a bit behind. lol. All I have to say is enjoy it cuz before you know it she's gonna be in college and going out on her own. She will prolly still laugh at the funny sounds though.
