Me and my sister are a yr and 10 months apart but then my brothers and i are 16 yrs apart. I think it doesnt matter whether u have them close or far apart the children get along or dont get along because of personalities not age gap. even if my sister had been born 3 yrs after me her personality wouldnt b different so we still wouldnt get along.

i think its up to the individual i think. i have a 11 week old and on having another in the next 2 years

I have two older brothers and a younger sister and we are all pretty close. My older brothers and me fought constantly and one is 4yrs older while the other is only 11 months. We all get along great now but it took longer for my lil sister who is 7 years younger than me to join the group cuz she stole my olny claim to family fame taking both my baby status and my only girl status. Now she considers me to be her best friend. So really I'm pretty sure that the whole birth order and age difference thing is a very subjective topic.

My brother and I are almost 5 years apart and we don't get along AT ALL. Only when we were really little, but we never got along when we were older. We had our moments, of course, but that was pretty much it.

With my children now, they will be about thirteen months apart, but mainly because I the twins weren't planed. If I had to choose, I would have waited a year or so. But I really don't regret it, because if that's what's meant to happen, than so be it.

Anyway, even if I didn't get along with my brother, if was kind of nice that he was the older one, and I was the baby of the family. Maybe if we weren't so far apart in age, we'd get along better, but that just didn't happen.

I think i would have my kids probably 3 years apart or have 2 or 3 then have like 1 or 2 more like 6 years later
