If you would like to breastfeed but you think you can't now, it is possible to re-lactate. Even adoptive mothers can train their breasts to produce milk. Anyway, yeah it's probably normal to be leaking a bit.

I have tried to get my milk supply back up, but it isnt as easy as you'd think... trust me.

How old is your baby? If he/she is less than 6 months, I'd suggest pumping and putting the milk in a bottle and mix it with formula. My friend didn't have enough milk so she would pump one bottle and the next bottle feed her little girl formula. Alternating breast milk, formula, breast milk, formula, etc. You could also do a little bit of breast milk and the rest formula. There is SO many things in breast milk that the baby needs.
NOW, if your little one is over 6 to 9 months I can understand why you'd be asking how long until you are "dried up". When the teeth come, I can understand not breast feeding after 6 months.

It's true you should breastfeed as long as possible (within reason, of course--wouldn't recommend it for your 7 and 5 yr olds concurrently).

Teeth aren't really a problem with breastfeeding, though. Unless the child has quite a bit of age on him and can tease you! A stern (but still sweet) NO! if he does nibble will usually solve that problem.

LOL
my son is just over 4months old i tried to express to get my milk back up, but it just wouldnt increase... and plus, i didnt really have the time to express as well as feed him bottles.

It was stressing me out so much that i couldnt produce enough milk, but in the end it was better for Noah and myself if i put him on formula, that way I knew he was having a decent feed rather than losing weight as he started to do.

I just stopped breastfeeding my Noah a few months ago because he wasn't needing it anymore- solids, water, normal milk. My! does is hurt or what when they give you a cheeky nibble I don't know if I'll breastfeed this next one up until two because Noah was actually biting my nipple on purpose, teasing me and it was sore!
