I may seem really hyper and panicky when I tell you guys this story, but it's still very hard for me to understand and grasp the fact that this really happened to me. This is one of the worst experinces you can have as a mother.

Just last week, on Friday, my son's girlfriend came over with her parents for a barbecue. The adults talked, while watching the bonfire. My son, AJ and his girlfriend Kate, were watching a sports game of some kind with my daughter and Kate's two younger brother and sister.

We we chatting about prices of airline travel these days, when we got to the subject of past vactions we've been on. My husband and I were saying how we went to Egypt with our kids last summer. I then went inside to get a photo we took of us on top of a pyramid. It was in AJ's room, so I went inside to get it.

We I got upstairs, I noticed his door was closed. I didn't
know why since I thought he was downstairs. When I opened the door, I CAUGHT MY SON AND HIS GIRLFRIEND, BOTH NAKED, IN HIS BED, HAVING SEX!

I already gave my son the "talk" a long time ago, so I'd think he'd know better. Luckily, he didn't even see me open the door. There was jazz music softly playing on his iPod, so I guess he didn't hear me open his door.
I haven't mentioned it to him since, and I don't know what to say or how to say it. I knew this would happen eventually, but why now? I never thought Kate would be like that either. She always seemed like such a nice, simple, yet funny girl.
What do you think I should say?

i have a son whos 16 his girlfriend lives with us...shes lived with us for a long time (about a year) and still to this day i freak out..i'm so scared they'll do something. lets talk seems like we have kids in the same age group

My son is also 16. So is his grilfriend.
What's it like living with someone your son's age who's not even in the family? Why doesn't she live with her family?

well she lives with us because her mom died when she was young and her little brother has a learning disability so it was alot for her dad to deal with....its so awkward i'm always afraid i'll walk in on them making out or something because one time i was going to get something out of the car and there they were it was like whoa??? so what else?
