i agree with you there...thats all Jamie wants to talk about is marriage like literally ever night at dinner "mom, i'm gonna marry this girl as soon as we turn 18" and than i say "Jamie, dont hold yourself to anything, you dont know what marriage is" and than he says "i do too what marriage your just jealous becasue your marriage turned out like crap" and i guess it partially my fault i really never taught him and showed him what a good marriage is i only married his dad because i was young,pregnant and stupid! that girl helps me more than anyone in the house, she wears a purity ring so should still be nervous?

All I am saying is that even if you explain safe sex to your teenagers and advise them to save it for marriage, they will do as they please!! You as a parent really can not stop them! So talk to them and then advise them that if they continue to have sex, to use protection!! I would buy them condoms because at the age of 16 they are NOT allowed, by law, to purchase them. So wouldn't you want them to be safe then sorry?!?! And who is to say that he will not marry this girl?? I did not marry my first but I did my second, so you never know!!! We have been together since high school, we were 17!!

I completely agree with you! You are a great person allowing her to live with you and taking care of her!
I was aiming my post to the others that state that giving him condoms is just saying it is ok to have sex. That the teen needs to save himself for marriage. That is a crock of S**T. Explain the circumstances of sex without protection and leave it at that! Like I said before, they are going to do it even if you say not too!!

i know my children have self-control and are good kids...my son's girlfriend is probaly one of the smartest kids i've ever met, both book and street. she president of her graduating class, shes a great kid, she gets straight A's,never got introuble is involved polticaly in the world, has some of the best vocab of anyone i've ever met. and has had worse stuff happen to her than probaly anyone on this site! and got a 1592 on the SAT the 1st time. and my son Jamie is very into his sports and school and his modeling! so are you saying i have bad kids because i dont belive i do!
