ive been told that 3 1/2 years is the perfect age gap. i'm due in july and dd will be 3 1/2. i think we waited far too long. my sister (13mos older than me) is my best friend, has been all my life. my oldest brother(8 years older) has always been very protective of me, and he does kind of act like a guard dog. so i really dont think there is any perfect time besides when you feel you are ready to hav another baby.

My daughter is 18mo. and we are waiting until she is 3 to start trying again. We want to spend time with our daughter now and would like her to be somewhat independent by the time the second one comes along. also she will be starting school then which will give us one-on-one time with the baby similar to the time we had with our first daughter.

Just decide what works best for you and your family.

I have three boys aged 4, 2 and 5 months and i can't wait to have another i am feeling quite broody now but i know it is to soon my husband is ready when i am, he can't wait to have another child.

I think anytime is the time to have a baby i only choose not to because i have 3 other children to look after. But i think wen you're ready you know.
