Re:Toddler clothes (1 viewing) (1) Guest
Toddler clothes By happy2bme 6 Months Ago My son is tall and slim for his age. He is 18 months and yesterday I put a pair of 12 month shorts on him and they fell off when he ran around in them! So I looked for another pair and tried a pair of 6-9 months and they fit! Right now he is still wearing alot of one piece outfits for the summer or cotton shorts with elastic in them. But what am I going to do when it is cold and I can't find pants for him? Because if I get them to fit his waist, they will be too short. Anyone else had this problem?

Re:Toddler clothes By CariannDS 6 Months Ago If you go to some of the more expensive stores they have pants with adjustable waists. But your going to have to pay for them. I'm trying to remember the names of some of the stores??? Carter's and ...? If I think of it I will let you no. My daughter has the opposite problem; if I get pants to fit her in the waste they are to long; it I get pants that fit her length the waste is to tight. The doctor says her weight is right on track for her height but pants just don't fit. Good Luck.

By Lara 6 Months Ago Old Navy and Target also carry pants/shorts with the adjustable waist. The same thing happens to my kids. They have the tiniest little hineys and clothes seem to fall right off in their size!

Re:Toddler clothes By silversky32 6 Months Ago all 3 of my kids are tall and skinny. I've had the exact same problem. Target, Old Navy and Children's Place all have adjustable waist pants at reasonable prices. I agree that overalls were the way to go as much as possible when they were toddlers, my kids lived in them

Re:Toddler clothes By AshleyR 5 Months, 3 Weeks Ago My son is 28 months and he is tall and slender. He still fits into some 12 month shorts, but they're rather short. So I buy 18 month to 24 month and roll the top band. With shorts with belt loops, I bought the smallest belt from Children's Place and they hold his shorts up......
