Yes, I see exactly what you mean, and I agree. I was just saying what that advice really meant, but I agree, it is best to leave it alone, and just say don't shake a baby at all under any circumstances!

Genevra - thank you for bringing this up. This advice can indeed be misinterpreted. The post has been removed.

Thank you Irene. Further, did you get my cues last night. We were trying to keep the gates shut for you, keep the yard clean, until you made it on. Hope we handled this okay. Genevra

Hi Genevra,
It melissa Im the one who was asking about the nap time but after reading your post I went to it to see what you were talking about and there was a reply that was blank I think she was the one who was giving advice about how to soothe a coliky baby But when she posted it I just skipped it because well obviously I dont have a coliky baby hes way too old for that but know I wish that I did read it so I could also tell her that its not safe to shake for any reason at all. But what about the seats? the baby seats? you know like the little seats that you put the newborn in and it vibrates (I cant think of the name for it) or the glidder? Thats a new one that just came out like two years ago, It rocks the baby back and forth and side to side. I wonder are these safe then?
