When is the right age for a child to sleep with blankets? My son is 14 months old and im still a little scared to blankets or a blanket on him when he sleeps because im afraid of him strangling himself when hes asleep!
What do you guys think?

WELL PERSONALLY MY BOYS ALWAYS SLEPT WITH BLANKETS..... BUT AT YOUR SONS AGE HE WILL DEFINATLY BE OK WITH ONE HE IS OLD ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO UNTANGLE HIMSELF OR MOVE IT AWAY FROM HIS FACE IF NEEDED.

My girls always slept with blankets. They each had a favorite blanket when they were infants. Your son should be fine at the age he is to have a blanket to sleep with.

its ok to let your baby sleep with a blanket if they can take if off their face and move away or get it off if its uncomfortable.

My husband and I were the same way you are. My daughter sleeped swaddled until she could wiggle loose and then she slept without a blanket until she was 15 mo. old and our doctor said it was ok at her 15mo. appointment. We started off slow with very small blankets, the ones we used to swaddle her when she was a baby. Everntually we work up to now; where she is 21mo. and sleeps with 2 blankets. A swaddleing blanket and an afgan or fleece type blanket of her choice.
