iv been dating my bf 4 about 3 months now. my mom absolutly loves him and so does my step dad. they think we make the cutest couple...heres where the problem comes in. his parents r prety protective of him and im not sure if they dont like me in particular or any girl (im hoping 4 the 2nd 1) im meeting them sometime this week and im realy nervous any advise would be greatly appriciated

I was dating my Hubby for about 4 months almost 5 months when I meet not only his parents but his whole entire family (it was thanksgiving) but the thing was I was already pregnant and we were engaged so I was super nervous and worried too!
Just be yourself and be nice and friendly. Remeber to try not to be to shy and to talk and try to make conversations. Im sure you will be fine and they will like you. Another thing remember moms love when you ask them if they need help especially if there in the kitchen like cooking, cleaning, doing the dishes etc.

just be yourself. if this is going to end up long term, then you need to be honest and let them see who you really are. it would really suck to have to maintain a lie throughout a long term relationship. im really shy so my husbands parents thought i was mute for about the first year. open up, they wont bite. and if they dont like you at first im sure they will warm up eventually.

When i first met my boy friends parents we where at his fathers birthday party but we were'nt dating then, but 3 months after we did, his mother and father where lovely to me and both our families get along really well so i was really lucky.

Just be youself and ask id any help is needed they really appreciate it.
