Re:How would I explain this to an 8-year-old???
By Random Chick 2 Months, 4 Weeks Ago
if it were about the mentally disabled person you could say that that person might act a bit differently to other people but that shes just as ordinary as you or i. you could also tell her parents if you didnt want to talk about it to her. or just tel her why dont you ask mum and dad, im not sure how to answer that question. ive never really had experience in this postion so im just putting down what id say to her. other people will probably have better answers but thats what id say.

Random Chick

BTW why do you have two accounts?? daisies110 and namefanatic?? im just curious

I would explain to her that sometimes peoples brains work differently the other peoples, and it isn't her fault, but sometimes it makes people who have this difference act differently. Make sure she understands that this lady isn't doing strange things on purpose, but it just happens sometimes, like we yawn or sneeze, we don't do it on purpose, our bodies just tell us to do it so it happens.

Okay, thanks. I really appreciate it. I'm still not convinced she's gonna buy it, I mean she's REALLY smart. But thanks. I'll see...

Random Chick,

namefanatic was my original file. My friend became interested in the site so I let her make up the name, daisies110, and we titled ourselves Clarica (a combination of our names, my name, Claire, and hers, Jessica). She ended up forgetting the password and for some reason I prefer this account to the namefanatic one.

I hope this answers your question.
