Re:should i keep trying? or am i being selfish? By lemonicegelato 1 Year, 10 Months Ago If you think you're being selfish because you want a little girl, I think you're wrong. I know a woman who has two boys and she got pregnant again, because she wanted a girl but it turned out to be a third boy.
I say keep trying, because I hope no matter what you'll love the outcome, if it's a boy or a girl. You'll probably get better advice but this is what I think.

Re:should i keep trying? or am i being selfish? By susieqzee 1 Year, 10 Months Ago Hi Laken. You are not being slefish but you are young and have many many years of child bearing left. When you and your hubby decide it is time to have another then go for it. In the meantime, enjoy the babe you have and you can still have lovely lists of names you'd like to use.
I had three kids and we were done. I was 23. But after a couple years i knew I wanted another. People said you already have 3, you don't NEED another. yes, but I WANTED another. The hubby and I split for other reasons, I got involved at age 28 with a great man and at afe 30 I had my #4 and never regretted having my fourth and final. I then felt complete and had surgery to prevent more. I guess it is true, good things come to those who wait. Good luck!

Re:should i keep trying? or am i being selfish? By Proud_Mummy 1 Year, 10 Months Ago susieqzee- that is good advice you have given.
I am 22 & have a 16mth old daughter, i am always feeling broody so i know how you feel- esp since i have 5 close friends who are all due in november. My husband would love to have another child now- if i would let him lol, as we have always said we would like to have our children close in age but we have decided to wait until she is around 2 1/2. Its nice to spend time together just the 3 of us & to be able to spoil her. I know some-day we will try for another child but in the mean time i have learnt there is no rush as i have hopefully got many years left for child bearing & to enjoy what i have got while i can, because the more you have the more expensive it will be! Your still only young like myself, and like Susieqzee said you still have many yrs of child bearing left so theres no rush. Just enjoy the little boy you have both been blessed with, enjoy time as a family just the 3 of you, go on holidays & days out, but most important wait until both of you are ready! Reason: spelling.
